On the March 8, an unusual tasting took place in the Russian sky, which was organized jointly by Aeroflot and Simple Group.
The unique three-hour flight attracted more than two hundred lovers of good wine and, according to its participants, became a real gem of the International Women’s Day. The success of the event will be best indicated by the numbers: more than 200 passengers, 18 wines, and 2 types of gin, the first movie premiere in the sky and the first tasting flight in Russia.
As a part of the event, a new Aeroflot’s aircraft was presented. The Pyotr Tchaikovsky airliner is the only A350 in Eastern Europe with a unique interior design. The entertainment program continued with wine tasting and the screening of Anatoly Korneev’s movie titled Wine Reflections. Before the start of the show, the audience was greeted personally by the director of the movie, Vitaly Muzychenko, and during the entire premiere, guests could enjoy dishes from the updated Aeroflot menu and specially selected drinks from the Simple Group’s portfolio. Each of these drinks was related to one of the movie’s four short stories, which are set in wine-growing countries (Italy, Georgia, France, and England).
